Looking for Volunteers to Help Monitor Rare Plants
Join a citizen science effort to monitor rare plant populations and plant communities. Training will be provided. Most of this work will involve looking for plants in Ouray County. There may also be opportunities to monitor rare plants in Montrose County.
Coordinators with the Colorado Natural Heritage Program (CNHP) will host training workshops in April and begin on-the-ground monitoring in May. This will be a fun way to learn about our local flora.

Special thanks to Ouray County for contributing important matching funds to help make this environmental monitoring effort happen locally.
