Dave lives in Montrose and is Senior Engineer at SRK Consulting. As a technical professional in mining and mine closure, he has worked extensively to protect and improve the environment and communities where his clients’ projects are located.
Dave has 15 years of experience as a registered professional engineer, qualified person, and technical project manager in mining and mine closure for gold, silver, and polymetallic projects in the U.S., Latin America, and Asia.
His volunteer experiences have included serving as vice president of his local irrigation ditch company as co-founder of a student chapter of Engineers Without Borders in college.
He is an avid outdoorsperson (biking, hiking, foraging, fishing, hunting…) and conservation minded. He and his spouse spend many weekends each year in and around Ouray. His dream is to see the Uncompahgre River flow clearly one day, free of mining impacted water and home to healthy vegetation and aquatic life.
