The Uncompahgre Watershed Partnership Board and staff would like to thank everyone who contributed to making our year-end fundraising campaign a big success – $6,450 was raised for our nonprofit. Through our membership drive, we received a total of $4,250 in donations including membership dues as well as matching donations from board members. Through the Telluride Foundation’s “Telluride Gives Day” program on Dec. 15, we received $2,200 in donations and matching funds. Congratulations to John and Susie Meltzer for winning a 1/2 day rafting trip for two from RIGS Adventure Co. (and thanks to Tim and Heather Patterson for donating the trip).
We are truly appreciative of the community’s continuing generosity, which supports UWP’s efforts to protect and restore the Upper Uncompahagre River Watershed.
