For our May hiking trip the Uncompahgre Watershed Partnership lead community members around the Ouray Perimeter Trail. During our hike we got great views of the town, as well as Cascade Falls, Hayden Mountain, and Uncompahgre Gorge.
Did you know the miners used to grow potatoes in the area west Portland Mine Road and before the trails highest at 8,500 feet?
