American Whitewater Boater Meeting

American Whitewater (AW) invites you to join our Gunnison Basin Stewardship staff and other river enthusiasts at 6pm on May 14 at the Sherbino Theater in Ridgway

As part of AW’s efforts to define and protect flows throughout the seven-state Colorado River Basin, we’ll discuss our efforts in the Gunnison River Basin, explain how you can help, and gather feedback from Uncompahgre area paddlers on other river-related opportunities and issues.

Why attend? Without the direct participation and membership support from the local paddling community, AW simply cannot be effective in protecting and restoring our region’s rivers. Your attendance on the 14th is important in helping decide what the future of streams throughout the Gunnison Basin looks like.  The event is open to all.  Please help us generate good attendance by circulating this email and inviting your paddling friends who are interested in river conservation and access.
