The fourth annual Ridgway River Festival, put on by MOSAIC, took place on Saturday, June 25. The Uncompahgre Watershed Partnership helped organize an educational tent which was attended by Ridgway State Parks, The Black Canyon Land Trust, Friends of the River Uncompahgre, and the UWP. The UWP brought a watershed model that illustrates how pollution moves through the watershed and some remediation efforts that can mitigate these problems.
Here are some photos of Matthew Jurjonas, the OSM/VISTA, giving presentations with the watershed model.
